Hello all! Welcome to my study abroad blog!
First of all, for those of you who don't know, the Emerald Isle is referring to Ireland. I will be spending my spring semester attending University College Cork in Cork, Ireland. Cork is in the southern area of Ireland and is the second biggest city in Ireland. I am excited to experience the feel of a larger city and to explore other parts of the country!
As I am sitting here drinking tea next to a fire and preparing for Christmas it is hard to imagine that I will be hanging out in Dublin in a week. I will be flying out on December 28th in the afternoon and spending about 4 days there before heading to Cork!
Saying my goodbyes has not been easy but I'm about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime and I can't wait! Stay tuned to hear about my travels and more about the Irish culture. I've got some packing to do before I jump on a plane in 5 days!
